Simala is a barangay in Sibonga Cebu where the Monastery of the Holy Eucharist is located. The monastery is sometimes known as "Simala", "Simala Shrine, "Castle Church" or "Birhen ng Simala".

Devotees of Mama Mary visit the place to pray for the sick love ones, to petition for certain goals to achieve like those taking board exams. There are about a thousand letters showcasing thank you letter to Miraculous Mama Mary for their success in taking the exams with memorabila like calculators, pencils, uniforms, and other stuff.
