Its interesting to know that Kan-Irag was once a bald mountain, but due to reforestation with native trees, the area became a functioning watershed. Originally, Ayala Land planned to build a golf course with the help of other non-governmen organizations it is converted to Nature Park known today as Kan-Irag Nature Park.*

We met in Ayala The Terraces where registration was conducted and distribution of our snacks, lunch, water and beverage and sport drinks. So aside from distributed drinks my backpack had 1.5 Liter of water and sport drinks. That's a lot!

We were packed inside a 25 to 30 seater jeepney going to Talamban route where we passed by USC Talamban, Family Park, and Sunny Hills.

We reached Budla-an Cebu where we started our fun walk. Whew...
