According to the landlady where we stayed a sample of the sand was tested back in '70s. It was found out its composition is made of a marble dust. It is powdery fine sand that you could differentiate from others.

is known for its marble products. The White Beach sand is to similar that of [[Romblon]] marble extracted. Romblon is quite far from the island. It's kind of interesting.
