In the aftermath of the 7.2 earthquake (wikipedia: 2013 Bohol earthquake ) that struckpart of Central Visayas. Century-old churches, schools, houses, bridges, roads were damaged.
Our group organized a campaign to help our fellow colleagues that were affected by the quake. We visited Tubigon, Bohol via barge from Quano Wharf of Mandaue City to Port of Tubigon.
We reached the Port of Tubigon where noticeable crack in the roads. As we left the wharf, just few meters away we started to see the damages in the buildings and houses.
We were able to visit our 2 colleagues with ease as the roads were passable to their destination. Unlike other municipalities which were inaccessible. It could only be reached via banca or pump boat because of damaged in the bridge that made it difficult for someone to bring food and water to their family.
